Submissions Policy (Writers, Creators, Thinkers)
Submissions to Oratales
Oratales exists to create enduring cultural work at the intersection of empathy, language, and learning. We welcome ideas that aim beyond trend and toward legacy. At present, Oratales considers submissions on a selective, invitation-led basis. This allows us to give each project the depth of attention it deserves.
What We’re Open To (When Open):
Original fiction and non-fiction with a clear authorial voice
Projects with strong thematic or social resonance
Adaptable works suitable for cross-media development (page, stage, screen, audio)
What to Send (When Submissions Are Open):
A brief project summary (one page)
A short statement of intent or vision
Links to previous work (if applicable)
What We Cannot Accept:
Unsolicited full manuscripts
Attachments via email
Time-sensitive exclusive offers without prior agreement
Our Commitment:
We read submissions with care and respect. Due to the volume and nature of long-form evaluation, we are not always able to respond to every enquiry. Silence does not reflect lack of merit.
Intellectual Property:
All rights to submitted work remain with the creator unless a formal agreement is entered into in writing. When submissions are open, guidance and submission windows will be published on this page.
